Access to student services and resources
All students commencing their studies at the University of Warsaw will receive login and password to their USOSWeb account. Access to the USOSWeb account is necessary e.g. to register for courses, check the schedule, find descriptions of all available courses. Access to the USOS system enables students to check their student e-mail account, which will facilitate contact with academic and administrative staff of the University of Warsaw and with other students.
Students of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw have free of charge access to:

Housing and accommodation
The University of Warsaw offers 2 500 places in six dormitories situated in various parts of the city. Each dorm has a quiet study lounge, a TV room, a computer room and laundry facilities. Monthly rent ranges from EUR 125 to 230 (PLN 530 to 1000) per person, depending on the type of room. UW dormitories are conveniently located in Warsaw with an easy access to the city centre thanks to various transportation options.

Finances
Students will need to cover their own living expenses. In Warsaw on estimate, a single student needs (depending on individual needs) from EUR 700 to 750 per month.
This is the average cost of living for students in Poland, bearing in mind that the currency in Poland is Polish zloty (1 euro = 4,30 zloty, August 2024).Insurance
Health insurance is mandatory for all students for the whole duration of their stay in Poland. It is important to remember that each student coming to the University of Warsaw for short-term studies will be asked to show a proof of health insurance upon arrival.
International students and academics are strongly advised to purchase third party liability insurance and accident insurance in their home countries.
EU citizens are eligible for free health services in Poland providing that they present a valid European Health Insurance Card.
EU citizens without health insurance in their countries of residence and non-EU citizens can sign a health insurance agreement with the National Health Fund (NFZ - Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia) or with one of the private clinics.
Non-EU citizen who have neither the Pole's Card nor a Polish descent, are also obliged to have an insurance during the whole duration of your stay in Poland. Otherwise they will be obliged to pay for all health services on your own.
They can insure themself either in NFZ or in one of numerous private insurance companies.Information about the international office

The offices offer their assistance to students in obtaining all key information on formal matters. The staff will help students obtain information on: fields of study, scholarships, doctorates, housing and all aspects of student life.
